The name Cecilio is almost synonymous with good quality instruments. It’s very rare that you will be unsatisfied with one of their products, and this 5 piece is certainly one of their best products. Though they are probably better known for their woodwind instruments, their foray into the percussion world has certainly been a good one. This is for both producer and consumer. It has been very advantageous to the consumer, as they have been providing high quality products at a relatively cheap price. And of course, Cecilio’s products are always popular, so they have sold vast amounts of their drum sets.

This drum set is aimed at the beginner to intermediate. It would be a fantastic gift for anyone looking to pay the drums. So, if you have a teenager that won’t stop nagging for a drum set, then this would be a great option!

About the Product

This drum set is a standard five piece; the bass drum, the snare drum, two high toms and an extra high to that sits to your side. It’s a high quality drum set, so you won’t need to worry too much about purchasing extra pieces in addition to what you are getting. It’s a great choice for anyone looking for a complete drum set, and is suitable for beginner to intermediate drummers.

Before buying a drum set, there are a few things you should consider and compare to other drum sets. The main things that you should consider are;

Bass Drum: You need to have a decent sized bass drum to produce a good sound. The bass drum that comes with this set measures at 22″ x 16″. This is certainly big enough to produce a good sound. You won’t need to get a bigger bass drum than this 22″ x 16″ one.

Cymbals: The cymbals that comes with this set measure at 14″ and 16″. For a hi-hat, this is around the average size. For the crash cymbal, 16″ is actually a really great size for a beginner. It’s slightly bigger than what most beginner drum sets come with, though this will suit most people.

Price: This set comes at a pretty standard price when compared to other five piece drum sets. You might be paying slightly extra than some of the cheaper options, though this is worth it for a high quality drum set.

Colors: This Mendini drum set buy Cecilio is available in a variety of different colors. Whilst we absolutely love the gloss white that is featured, it’s available in a variety of other colors too. We’re not massive fans of the silver, but we certainly like the subtle and classic Wine Red color.

Fairly easy to assemble: Though it’s quite easy to assemble, it might take you a fair few hours to assemble it properly. This isn’t a particularly long time to take to assemble a drum set, though.

Reasonable price: This is a fairly good price for a drum set of this quality. Lets get things straight; it isn’t anything amazing and won’t blow your socks off in terms of quality. Though if you’re looking for something within this lower price bracket, this is one of the best options.

Cymbals: The cymbals that come with this Mendini set aren’t of the greatest quality. They will last you a few months whilst you are learning, but after a certain period of time, you’ll probably want to reinvest in a higher quality pair.

If you’re looking for a good quality drum set that is ideal for both adults and teenagers, then this is one of the best drum sets that you could invest in. Available at a relatively cheap price, there aren’t many other options on the market that provide a drum set of this quality at this low price.
